Cupping is a bodywork modality, where vacuum cups are applied to the body to release tension and pain, increase circulation and resolve cough and wheezing. This appointment is just cupping (no acupuncture).
Community Acupuncture – $20-$40 sliding fee
Community Acupuncture treats people in a group setting. You are relaxing on a treatment table with up to 2 other people in the room (due to Covid, there will be only one person per room). Sessions are $20-$40 per treatment – you decide what you can afford, no questions asked. Treatment lasts 45-60 minutes. Community Acupuncture is offered Wednesdays from 5-7:00pm and Saturday from 9-10am. This option is acupuncture only and not any other treatment modalities.
Ear Acupuncture/NADA Treatment – $20
This is specialized acupuncture, directed at supporting folks working through recovery/addiction, smoking cessation, PTSD, weight loss and generalized anxiety and depression. Recipients have acupuncture in the ears only.
30 Minute Consultation – No charge
This free 30 minute consultation is for anyone who wants to know more about acupuncture and/or how treatments will benefit their health. Some people need more information about acupuncture before they schedule a session. I offer these consults so you can come in and meet me and see if acupuncture is a good fit for you.
Not sure what appointment is best for you? Acupuncture is a process. Most people feel relief from their symptoms right away. Some symptoms take more time to change. Most folks need a series of treatments to get good, long lasting results. At your first session, we’ll recommend a plan of treatment and discuss this with you to come up with something that works for your schedule and your budget. Or, get in touch via phone (206-781-5128) or email (jessica@riversongacupuncture.com) and we’ll do a free consult to help you figure it out.
